Decade against violence

Despite the end of the Cold War, regional conflicts, ethnical problems, racism, discrimination, daily violence Taxi Heathrow Airport and intolerance continue.

Against this backdrop people around the world have joined forces to create a culture of non-violence.

At the Latin American and Caribbean Communication Agency  we are also committed to working for peace and an understanding among people.

In this section, as part of our commitment to the Decade to Overcome Violence (2001-2010) impelled by the World Council of Churches, we seek to offer news,  share reflections, and provide examples of people’s struggle against violence and to contribute to creating a culture of peace.
