The Alumnae Association of Colombia of the Haggai Institute (AEXHI in Spanish), in a strategic Taxi Heathrow Airport alliance with the Evangelical Council of Colombia (CEDECOL in Spanish) and with the initiative of its President, Pastor Roosevelt, will carry out two forums in which the invited guests will be sharing their life experiences in other Latin American countries.
According to Hugo Echeverri Toro, Director of AEXHI, the purpose of this program is simply that of being of assistance to those brothers and sisters who feel called to politics, by giving them leadership tools so as to be more effective in developing their participation. “We want these leaders to be a truly Christian witness to the nation, highly participative and with the only interest being that of making an impact on Colombia, reflecting and honoring our Lord Jesus Christ, even in this greatly sensitive and delicate profession,” Echeverri added.
The two forums will hear as invited speakers, Rodolfo Muñoz Piloña, with his experience in the executive power as an aspirant to the presidency of his country, Guatemala, and Napoleón Ardaya from Bolivia, an expert in the sphere of the legislative power given his experience as a congressman in his country.
Echeverri pointed out that in July “we will hold the Seminar on Special Leadership, the curriculum for which we are in the process of preparing and also that of selecting the instructors. The program has the support and recognition of the Associations of Pastors of Bogotá and Medellín, the two cities in which the forums will be held.”
The program oriented toward the Christian political class, is to take place from the 19th to the 21st of February in the Rincón Grande Club of Bogotá, and in the Casa Laureles Hotel of Medellín, the following 23rd through the 25th of April, according to the organizers of the event.
